Intermittently while driving the abs braking system malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance and pedal to the floor, which may result in an accident. Cause unknown. Please provide further details.
While driving the truck came to stop and applied the brakes and the truck did not stop at all. The pedal went right to the floor. The driver had to turn the truck into the grass, and the truck just rolled untill it stopped.
Abs, speedometer, odometer, tripmeter failure and vehilce fails to start.
When the brakes are applied there is a vibration in the front end, caused by the warped rotors.
Despite several dealership "fixes" gas tank shifts and thumps when accelerating or stopping sharply. All electric door locks had to be replaced due to electrical "vibration"-type noises when activating. Rear brakes have "hummed" when lightly braking since new. Problem evolved into surging. Needed a complete brake job at 40,000 miles due, I believe, to lack of dealership fix before hand.
