Three problems related to brakes failed have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
This van has had many defects, the service tech. Said all the brake componets were going to be damaged and I had only hear the noise for two days. The shoes were damaging the drums and were attached to the drum, and they had to beat on them for at least a hour to get them off, the shoes were had the rivets missing on most of them. They were causing other brake conponets to come loose, this was way to early for back brake shoes to fail and damage all these parts. It could have caused me to have and accident.
While trying to apply the abs brakes, the brakes fail to stop vehicle.
Crash occurred because vehicle's brakes completely failed. Dealer says it's normal.
