Two problems related to transmission sensor have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at highway speeds transmission jumped out of gear. Transmission has been replaced. Transmission was rebuilt with upgraded parts, the second failure the transmission sensors were replaced, the third failure the vehicle is still in the shop.
While driving heard a noise from transmission, vehicle lost power then transmission was stuck in one gear. Took vehicle to dealer, and they said that problem was transmission sensor and had to be replaced. Please provide more information.
