general problems of the 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager

Three problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Failure Date: 06/02/2003

While traveling down hill the vehicle gains excessive speed ,and will shut down . Then, vehicle will restart on its own.

2 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2000

Consumers foot went to the floor, the engine raced and the consumer could not control the vehicle, several repair attempts and rebuilt transmission prior to incident. Nlm transmission failed while driving up a hill only six weeks after purchase, consumer requests reimbursement. (attorney for client).

3 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Speed control and horn stopped working at apprximately the same time. The air bag light came on at approximately the same time. No accident or anything else unusual occurred that would have caused these to malfunction.
