Four problems related to brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings have been reported for the 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake line to rear brakes above fuel tank ruptured and lost all brake fluid.
Brake lines rust out and brakes fail.
Applied brakes on steep driveway and pedal suddenly went to the floor. Experienced greatly reduced braking capability. Found steel brake line failed due to corrosion (rust through) where it connects to braided steel section just aft of the abs proportioning unit.
