Hood Latch problems of the 1997 Plymouth Neon

Two problems related to hood latch have been reported for the 1997 Plymouth Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Hood Latch problem

Failure Date: 05/22/1999

At 55mph hood latch popped open, causing hood to fly up, obstructing the view of the driver, and resulting in a collision. Driver and passenger sustained minor injuries. Manufacturer has been notified.
