Two problems related to air conditioner have been reported for the 1999 Plymouth Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Ongoing problem with fuel leakages from fuel tank. Dealer notified. There was a gasoline smell and leak at the vehicles right rear area. The fuel pump seal was determined to be the cause and was replaced. The a/c was not cold enough due to expansion valve failure and it was replaced.
Consumer noticed while traveling and without any indication air conditioner stopped working. Vehicle was serviced, technician couldn't duplicate problem.
