One problem related to trunk lid has been reported for the 1999 Plymouth Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle would not start,. Opened the hood, looked like an electrical short, the wiring on the end glowed red right above the battery. Previously, there was an air conditioning problem, and the check engine light came on. They said it was a sensor. Also a trunk latch.
