The car seat came with the vehicle and harness latch opened and closed intermittently. The consumers daughter was buckled into the built in car seat, and when it was time to get her out, the seat belt wouldn't extend out to release. The straps remained locked and will not release. Scc.
Both integrated child safety seat straps would not unlatch. Needed to used a screw driver to unlatch harness straps. Dealer notified ,and informed consumer that was not covered under a recall, and any repairs would be at consumer's cost. Asking NHTSA to look into this matter. Belt for integrated child safety seat is failing to lock when brakes are applied. This would prevent forward movement of child/seat. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
Child seat chest piece will tighten, moves up to child's neck, strangling child. Chest plate keeps tightening when child moves.
The built-in child seats causes children's legs to fall asleep after being in seat for approximately 10 minutes. The legs do not support them right away after getting out of seat.
Consumer has an integrated child safety seat in vehicle, and the child's hair got caught in it on numerous occasions. Consumer had to take child to the doctor because bunches of hair had been pulled out. Also, child safety restraint has been repaired 3 times because it would lock up. Manufacturer told consumer that it was nothing that they could do. They told the consumer to call here first and make a complaint.
Recall repair on the integrated child safety seats did not fully fix the failure, entire seat needs replacement after repair.

Ea-97003; belts would not release/unlatch to allow child to be placed in built-in seat or to be taken out of css; cannot pull seat belt out because it retracted. Will be taken to dealer.

Purchased truck new, child was in the child seat and couldn't get the child out. Consumer states child safety seat has a defect which causes choking if the belt is twisted in recoil assembly, child had to be cut out of seat and had bruising in the neck area.

While sitting in an integrated safety seat, child was able to free his shoulder from restraining straps due to the design of the integrated child seat.
