Gasoline Engine problems of the 1996 Plymouth Voyager

While driving instrument panel will start to act up, speedometer will start to jump up and down in speed, and anything else. Then, vehicle will shut off without any notice. Contacted dealer.

96 v 006 000/engine: loss of oil from cylinder head oil galley plug. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that this vehicle was not covered under recall due to VIN. Asking NHTSA help in this matter. Feel free to provide any further information on this problem.

Chrysler corporation has been no help. They would not let me speak to any supervisor. This car is not old. I owned a caravan before and went through 2 transmissions and one motor. They are having transmission problems and wont even fix it.

Engine cuts out when driving up an incline and going around curves, dies when stopping/slowing/idling at stop, "service engine soon" light comes on and remains on, windshield wipers come on sporadically by themselves.

I have a defective lifter in my engine that has caused power loss and my van hesitates to start up also I have something wrong with my brake system that almost caused me to rear end a semi.

Originally repaired at dealer's expense, second repair paid by owner.

Dealer refuses to discuss manufacturing defect of transmission. Unacceptable to have total transmission failure at only 49,000 miles!.

My plmouth Voyager cuts off while moving. It has done this since we purchased it. Carmax would not refund our money or allow us to trade fairly. They have not been able to determine the problem. I contacted plyomouth, they were not willing to help me in any way.

While traveling at high speeds, such as 65mph vehicle will just cut off. This happened frequently. Manufacturer has called dealer to keep vehicle a little longer in order to find cause of the problem.

Four days after I purchased the vehicle, it developed engine probelm. Engine had a cracked head.

Received letter of recall about engine not showing up under this truck but found it under Chrysler cirrus 1995 # 96v006000, took to dealer to be fixed picked it up, brought it home/the truck started to smoke and found the bolt under truck .

While driving 60 mph on the highway and when making a left or right turn engine completely shuts down, causing loss of control, nearly resulting in a collision. Cause unknown. Please give any further details.
