Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problems of the 1997 Plymouth Voyager

1 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2002

Vehicle was not started. However, gear lever will move on its own. Gears move without placing foot on the brake. Consumer adds, there is a problem w/airbag, because the light is constantly on which prohibits the horn from working. (she concerned because she has small children).

2 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 07/31/2001

Vehicle was parked with engine running, emergency brake not applied. Consumer left vehicle. Vehicle suddenly went backward, hitting another vehicle. Damage to vehicle unknown at this time.

3 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 05/04/2001

Transmission would shift into gear without being turned on, and had rolled backwards.

4 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 03/03/1998

After putting vehicle into park, while vehicle was turned off, vehicle jumped out of park into reverse, causing it to hit another vehicle.
