One problem related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings has been reported for the 1998 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Upon starting vehicle consumer smelled fuel. Then, heard a loud noise, and saw flames under the hood. Vehicle was totalled. *akthe investigators report concluded that the cause of the fire was due to the cracking of a high-pressure fuel hose. This allowed for uncontained fuel to emanate into the engine compartment.
