Fuel Injection Rail problems of the 1998 Plymouth Voyager

While traveling on the highway, there is a fuel smell coming though the vents. The fuel rail is leaking gasoline. Please fill in additional information. Dealer is aware of the problem. Ph.

2 Fuel Injection Rail problem

Failure Date: 06/12/2002

Upon starting vehicle consumer smelled fuel. Then, heard a loud noise, and saw flames under the hood. Vehicle was totalled. *akthe investigators report concluded that the cause of the fire was due to the cracking of a high-pressure fuel hose. This allowed for uncontained fuel to emanate into the engine compartment.
