Power Steering Pump problems of the 1998 Plymouth Voyager

Two problems related to power steering pump have been reported for the 1998 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Power Steering Pump problem

Failure Date: 12/23/2000

Belt for the power assisted steering has disconnected from the belt tensioner three times during normal operation. When this problem occurs, steering control of the vehicle becomes very limited. Dealership has diagnosed the problem and made all repairs to the vehicle. Please provide any additional information / documentation.

2 Power Steering Pump problem

In rain or going through puddle of water at low or high speeds water will cause power assist belt to slip, causing loss of steering.
