general problems of the 1999 Plymouth Voyager

Three problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 1999 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 05/08/2008

The contact owns a 1999 Chrysler Voyager. While driving between 5-10 mph, the vehicle would not stop. The failure has been occurring everyday since the vehicle was purchased. The brakes have been inspected each year. The contact stated that the brakes are not grabbing. The current mileage was 204,000 and failure mileage was 28.

2 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 01/27/2000

The contact complained about brake problems. There have been three accidents as a result of the brakes not completely stopping the vehicle. When applying the brakes the vehicle lurched forward. The vehicle has not been inspected to determine the cause of the brake problems.

3 Service Brakes problem

It has been noticed that the brakes (the whole system) have to be replaced every three months. The last time the brakes had to be replaced was on 4/28/2003.
