Cruise control, horn, back-up lights, windshield washer front & rear, air bag light stays on.
While driving about 5 mph steering wheel locked up whitout prior warning. Consumer kept driving straight. Vehicle was towed to dealer, and they stated that steering wheel was not locked at time when vehicle was bought. However, vehicle was fine. Prior to steering wheel locking up, the consumer had problems with cruise control disengaging, the windshield wipers malfunctioning and check the engine light come on and staying, but had all fixed. Recently, the consumer says the back lights work intermittently. The consumer is concerned about steering wheel possibly locking again in the future.
Problems started with windshield wipers not functioning properly, then the back up lights didnt work, then the horn quit, then the cruise control and the airbag light came on all the time, now the lock on the side door passenger side is being tempermental. I took it in to dealer today. Kunkels in export, PA.
Noted that backup lights were not working. Fuses and bulbs are ok. Since then observed other Chrysler/Dodge?Plymouth minivans and noticed same problem in two latest model Dodge caravans.
