Headlights are so frosted/yellowed you can. T see at night. The lights on this vehicle were not that good when they were new. But now that the plastic has broken down from exposure to the environment, the lights are useless. My older cars had headlights made of glass and did not seem to have this problem.

The headlight lenses on my 1996 Plymouth Voyager van are deteriorating. You could say they are fogging up. I looked at them with a magnifying glass and it looks like there are tiny cracks. It is degrading the light emanating from the lenses to such an extent that night driving is really dangerous. My brights are dimmer than most cars' low beams.

There was a recall many years ago in germany on the starter, also have a letter from the Chrysler shop the part get replaced on warranty that was many years ago, there never had the part to replace it. Now I am in the states ,in washington, and the recall part failed me. Second: my headlight have a film haze, there is no way to clean it take it apart or anything. We went to used auto part stores every last one has the same problem. I cant see at night, and can cost me an extent. That should be a recall. A new light would cost $ 270. 00 plus tax per light. It is on both lights. I am disappointed with the Chrysler. I also just read on your web there many other recalls I never knew about it. What can you do for me.
Headlight lens degradation.
The transmission goes into gear without depressing the brake. The guide plates had damaging spots. The brakes had excessive clearance and damaged the trailing edge. The vehicle would be in operation at a stop on a slight incline, the gear was in drive, with the foot removed from the brake and the vehicle would roll backwards; (the same for reverse), the lens covers on the vehicle have yellowed and or had become opaque. In 2000 Chrysler Voyager and a 1998 Plymouth grand Voyager.

98 Plymouth Voyager VIN #2p4gp4531wr687519 please be advised that my acrylic head lamps have become pitted via normal driving. I believe this causes loss of visiblity during nightime operation. Visibility may be lowered by more than 50%. I think this may be a common situation in vehicles nationally. Please advise me on the proper steps to rectify.

While driving at night headlights would get condensation inside of the lens that would cause the lights to become dim. This would pose a hazard to the driver due to a lack of visibility on the roads.
