I bought kelly/springfield navigator gold tires p205/75r14 on 6/21/05. The belts are showing through on 2 of the tires, the 3rd tire is extremely warn and the 4th is warn all within 21,000 miles. I have noticed recalls on similar tires with the same problems, especially p205/70r14.

Right rear tire tread had separated on a 1996, Plymouth, Voyager which was moving at approximately 65 mph. Tire was a uniroyal nailgard tigerpaw wsw, size p205/75r14, dot# is bhkctt7u208. Tire was purchased separately from vehicle. A few days prior to incident, left front tire had flattened due to tread beginning to separate. Dealer at shop advised consumer that tire was defective. Tires had 56000 miles on them.

Dealer found tread separation beginning and metal showing inside of the goodyear tires p205/75r14, dealer stated the tread separation was caused by the dual steelbelts slipping.
