The drivers side wiper leaves a streak at drives eye level during most rain events. My dealer has replaced the wiper 3 times but this has not fixed the issue. My dealer has verified this is happening and verified this happens on all Porsche Cayenne vehicles of this age and model. According to fmvss 104 and sae j1903 the area a (drivers viewing area) must be 99% cleaned. This streak is an arc about 2" tall and the full length of the wiper travel. Changing the speed of the wiper system does not eliminate the streak. This has not caused a crash yet but I feel it may in the future.

This is a Porsche cayanne 2008. The windshield wipers on my vehicle will suddenly stop working. This issue can happen if the car is in motion or stationary, street or highway driving. It is very unpredictable. The wipers can stop operation for a variable amount of time. At times I have to turn off the car to get them to work again. Sometimes they will remain inoperable from seconds to 15-20 minutes, and restart on their own. At times if I am driving in the rain the windshield wipers will cut off and not restart or restart after a period of time, preventing proper visibility.

-driver side wind noise: dealer tried to fix the problem but failed and now they are not willing to fix the problem. Wind noise is so loud that I can not hear approaching emergency vehicle -windshield wipers are not completely attached to the windshield leaving streaks (lose contact). I can see the bottom half when it rains.
