So today driving to work car ran fine got off my exit came to the red light and stopped. When I gave it gas to go the engine reved up and went but very slowly then it stopped reving and drive fine. I was on my way to wal-mart. As I was driving my car all of a sudden wasn't going as I pressed on gas so I notice something strange was going on tried to shift it wouldn't downshift. Then I pulled into middle lane that is were it slowly stopped. Then I shut it off started my car again to go to a safer place it started, continue driving about less then a mile turned into wal-mart and as I was turning in car gas pedals and shift was not working. So it rolled and I was able to get into parkingnlot wal-mart. When I tried to reverse and make the car straight it would not move in drive only reverse. I parked my vehicle and called my husband cause I was panic that I almost got hit behind me till I pulled into center lane I didn't want to drive it.
Takata recall my car's power fluctuated which high acceleration then basically down to no power and the rpm gauge shut down while still traveling at 55 mph but the breaks and steering had high resistance which made me go into a panic, I eventually pulled to the curb and turned the car off and called my husband he told me to try making it home at a slow speed if it still drives so I started the car and the rpm gauge was back working and I told him and he said the problem sounds electrical and dangerous so I got home and we hooked up a obd2 code reader and it gave us cofde c0561 so my husband googled the code and it mentioned a recall for this problem then we found your site NHTSA. Gov we followed the steps and discovered there was a pending unrepaired reall on my vehicle and it was about that same problem and explain the fix remedy that involved the bcm so I contacted the chevrole, Cadillac t dealership in victorville CA and made a appointment for 07/15/2019 to have the recall performed and as we arrived for the recall we were greeted by robert khoury and he got information of our visit and immediately stated that if they check the bcm we'll be charged $139. 00 that will be applied to the repair I then let him know NHTSA. Gov said the recall will be done free of charge and mr. Khoury then stated junk people post on websites so I told him NHTSA is a official site but he wouldn't listen and stated no pay no fix but we'll repair the break lamp only so I left the car with them hoping the mechanics would do the right thing, I went to my office and printed out NHTSA safety issues & recalls and took it back to the dealership and tryed to show mr khoury but he refused to read it. We left again then was contacted later saying the car was ready and on my way home it repeated the same thing it did which led to the recall I called the dealer and khoury said you didn't wanna pay.
Upon taken off my traction stabilizer control light comes on my car will then stutter upon accelerating my car will smooth out.
On three separate occasions going at slow speeds, I step on the braks and the car jumps and go at a high speed when I am in traffic. In happens when the traffic is slow and then begins to move. The last occasion resulted in my car being totaled. It always the front end.
I can not get service without making multiple trips to the dealer as required by gm to install a part that is known to them.
Approximately 30 days ago, I started experiencing issues where the car will not shift from park gear to drive gear. This issue has occurred approximately 10 times during this window. Sometimes when this issue occurs the esc light is on while other times the light is off. The only way to "trick" the car from shifting to park to drive is to turn the car off, press on the brake pedal or emergency brake to ensure car is still in park and gently push and hold the gear shift button then crank the car back on.

I have a 2007 Saturn Aura. I'm currently experiencing the issue associated with NHTSA campaign number 14v252000 (recall # 13036). Additional to this issue, I'm complaining that this issue could be associated with draining my car battery. Since this issue I have replaced three (3) brand new batteries. I had my alternator checked twice and both test results diagnosis was passed. Which means that my alternator is good and didn't need to be replaced. Each time I have my battery replaced with a brand new battery the life span of the battery is about 3 weeks. After that the battery is dead. If I don't replace the battery and get a jump start the life span of the battery last about 7-10 days before I will need another jump start. Today, August 9, 2014 I again had my battery and alternator diagnosed and both passed the test. I was told by a certified gm mechanic that my issue could be related to electrical system that is draining (killing) my battery because there is nothing wrong with the battery and the alternator. Could this issue (14v252) be the reason my I'm experiencing my battery to died/drain because of my car is affected by electrical system and electronic stability control issues? the consumer stated the shifting cable was replaced twice and the transmission needed to be replaced. Updated 2/24/2015.
Received 2 recall notices, recall # 14152; and recall # 13036. Recall# 14152, has been replaced I'm assuming. My concern is that my vehicle accelerates at an higher speed than what I'm driving, the rpm dial shoots up to 5 or 6 on the rpm dial then gradually go down to 1. When I am at an complete stop, my vehicle is slow about accelerating, which can be scary because people behind me are driving faster than I'm moving, then all of a sudden my vehicle accelerates at a higher speed than I'm driving. I pray that this recall will resolve this issue I am an 65 year old lady, with 2 grandchildren that I take on different events. I'm concerned about an potential safety default in my vehicle could cause an fatal accident to myself or someone else especially my grandchildren. This letter is notice to you of my concern driving this vehicle. I can't purchase another car I'm on an fixed income. Thank you. Oh by the way recall #13036 is not in stock yet, I'm waiting for part to come in . I pray it will come in before my car breakdown permanently.
"service airbags" light came on 5/12/14. Owner's manual lists this as potential hazard as airbags may fail to deploy or deploy without warning. Took vehicle two blocks from my home to service station station on 5/13/14, but station said they do not work on airbags. Took vehicle home and parked it. Sent e-mail to Saturn's customer service center on 5/14/14, and eventually spoke to a supervisor on 5/17/14. He said that in order for gm to do anything, I would have to take the vehicle to a dealership in fairfax, va. I explained that I do not believe that I should spend any more money on the vehicle as I feel that it is defective. The supervisor said that he would arrange for towing and gm would pay for it. He also stated that I would be reimbursed for repairs or compensated for the loss of the use of the vehicle and that he would work with me "every step of the way. " on 5/20/14, I called for the supervisor and someone else returned my call. When I requested that gm provide me with a written document as to how they intended to resolve the issue, I was told that this would have to be discussed with the supervisor and then they would get back to me. They did not call me back all day Monday. I called and left a message on 5/21/14 and they have not responded to me in any way. The vehicle has been parked in my lot since 5/13/14 and I don't know what to do. I am afraid to drive the vehicle because of my own history with it and the recent spate of recalls for similar issues that have involved injury and death. (my vehicle is not currently under recall but does have similar issues to vehicles that are under recall). I don't know what to do. After promising to assist me, gm now will not return my calls.
The locks continuously lock and unlock themselves; the emergency brakes when activated sometimes still roll.
The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Aura. The contact was driving approximately 5 mph downhill in snowy weather when the wheels seized and the tires would no longer move. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The technician stated that the brake system would have to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 99,500.
We bought the vehicle used in 2012, with approx. 37k miles on it. Within 50 miles, we realized the brakes had an issue & took it back to the chevy dealer, who did the repairs free of charge. Since that time, we have had to replace/repair the brakes (specifically the rotors) 3 times- approx. Every 10k miles, as the vehicle now sits at 63k miles. I understand brake pad wear- but replacing the *rotors* that often is ridiculous and expensive. Something is causing the rotors to warp, either poor quality materials or a problem with the hydraulics causing uneven braking- please investigate & start a recall!.
Back brakes were feeling different and when I had car inpected found that it needed back brakes and routers. My car had only 38000 miles on it. I found this to be very unusual also. Had them replaced and all is good for now.
Tl * the contact owns a 2007 Saturn Aura. While driving at an unknown speed, the brakes and rotors began to overheat. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they diagnosed the issue as normal wear and tear. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer stated that the contact was responsible for the failure. The failure mileage was 12,000.
I own a 2007 Saturn Aura. The mileage is approximately 132k. I have multiple brake issues I have replaced the brakes 4 times since I bought the vehicle brand new in 2007. The dealership has told me that with this mileage the average would have been to replace the brakes two times and that four times was unheard of. I request that an investigation be done on this situation. I see from other posting that I'm not the only one with this problem.
Brakes needed replacing before 30,000 miles.
I purchased a 2007 Saturn Aura xr new from Saturn of thornton rd. In March 2008. Beginning at purchase I have had to have the brakes replaced, 2 window motors redone, steering parts ordered and put on door handles replaced, and I am currently waiting for more steering parts and door handles to be ordered. I make monthly trips to this dealership to have something repaired. . . Please help me.
The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Aura. When the vehicle was started, the esc and brake indicators illuminated. The contact also stated that the air bag indicator flashed on and off. The dealer diagnosed that the harness needed to be weathered. The contact did not remember the second part that the dealer replaced. The failures recurred every year since 2007, at the onset of winter. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 150.
Since buying my Saturn Aura in March 2007 my life has been a complete headache. I first had to take my car into the shop with only 2300 miles on it for rack and pinion to be replaced. Since then it has been in the shop no less than every 6 months. I have had to replace the brakes and rotors two times, motor mount, passenger air bag, sunroof drain, water pump, coolant crossover pipe, water reservoir, steering shaft and more. Now my rack and pinion is bad again and they will not fix it. Also there is a major rattle in front of car and squeal coming from front drivers side tire. They tell me that there is nothing wrong and cannot duplicate. Just recently I have started to notice that my car steering is funny and also that it cuts out or accelerates on it's own. I am planning on getting it back in again to the shop soon. I do not feel safe driving this car. I have three small children and want something done to stop all the problems.
