One problem related to transmission slip out of gear has been reported for the 2007 Saturn ION. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Ion. While driving 65 mph, the contact was unable to disengage the gear shifter out of fifth gear. Approximately 5-6 seconds later, the gear shifter disengaged. As of December 17, 2007, the dealer had not inspected the vehicle. The failure mileage was 85 and current mileage was 2,700.
