Service air bag light randomly came on.
The rear lift gate or strut support for the hatch of my 2007 Saturn, Outlook gradually fell on my son and I while putting the groceries in the car at walmart more than a few months ago; now the hatch no longer holds its weight and drops when you try to lift it, because it is pretty heavy, so as of today, I have not used the hatch for many months now, because it is not safe. I have called a few dealers that deal with Saturn, GMC even Buick and they all say that they do not work on vehicles over 10 years. (?) one of the mechanics said that he thought there was a recall on the lift gate like 3 years ago. ? I am to the point that I might as well find a local mechanic to fix the lift gate or strut for the hatch. Also, the passenger side air bag light has been on since January or February of 2019 and it won't turn off or reset?.
Airbag light has been lit up for awhile now. They say I need a new sensor. Is this not the same issue from a previous recall? why does this not show up under that recall?.

1) steering went out during a heavy rain going down the road. Lost steering. Very scary. Happened with four kids in the car going over a bridge! took it to a car repair shop and they did not see a problem while looking at belt. It has happened a handful of times in very heavy raining which I try to avoid since that happened. 2) airbag light on. Just wonder if it is due to the water that pours in through the known defective sunroof tubes? during rains, water trickling through airbag compartments as well as water throughout vehicle. How come these sunroof tubes are not recalled????.
I was driving along and my dashboard went dark, you couldn't read the mileage, or any data that should show up in that window, the battery level showed lower then normal however stopped to have battery and alternator checked and both were working normally per mechanic. When stopped car and turned back on data was viewable, then airbag light came on - stayed on for about an 30 min. Then went back off. There was an issue with roof leaking - dealership had to repair and now I think this is linked to that issue. However, not sure if others are having this same issue and don't feel I should be held responsible for something that the dealer should have checked out prior to correcting leaking. Have there been any other owners with issues regarding this?.

I have a 2007 Saturn Outlook xr and my service airbag light remains on at all times and my passenger side airbag wont turn on no matter who sits in it or any position. I have seen a lot of complaints about this same issue and feel their should be a recall on the 2007 Saturn Outlook's.
The service air bag light stays illuminated on dash and the passenger air bag is off even if somebody is seating in the passenger seat . I have tried calling dealers, Saturn-gm but have gotten no help with the resolution of this defect. They say that it is a defective sensor but according to a lot of forums this is a well known issue and this should be a safety defect not just a recall. This technically could hurt or kill someone in an accident and they have known about this. If something happens while driving this vehicle I will take this as high as I can take it. This has been happening for at least 18 months.
The passenger airbag light sporadically goes off when an adult is seated on the seat leaving the airbag inoperable in a crash. My vehicle has not been recalled for this issue although it is a known issue in my year and model.

When I was driving on the highway, the service airbag light came on. Light has been on/off for the past month and a half. I see there is a recall for the 2008 Saturn Outlook, but nothing for the 2007 model. If so many people are having the same problem, gm needs to expand the recall to include the 2007 model.

Service air bag indicator light goes on and off, this has been a problem with this vehicle for the past 3yrs. Dealer states there is a issue with the passanger seat wiring harness. My understanding their is a campaign for the 2008 and newer vehicles with the same problem, why were the 2007 vehicles left out.

This is a safety issue not an incident passenger airbag is off when 100 lb. Daughter in front seat. This happens 95% of the time. Also, is intermittently on and off with 127 lbs. Daughter. The car was checked by Saturn in cathedral city(which has closed) and gm on varner rd in indio. Neither found any thing wrong. I called customer service. They told me to go to Saturn in riverside( an hour away) they found that the sensor was put in incorrectly. However when I got home the problem still occurred. I brought it back to riverside. The technician said he rode with a girl probably 125 lbs and when they went around a corner she slid and the light went off. I said someone would slide in an accident or you could take a turn and hit something and the airbag would be off. I asked him to put that she slid on the invoice but he refused and said she wasn't seating probably. He kept telling me children are safer in the back seat. Isn't everyone? legally she has every right to be there. She's 12,5'4" and 100. Lbs. My husband has a pontiac and the airbag is on every time she's there. Recently I was driving on the freeway with my older daughter and the indicator went off. Customer service says they can't do anything because riverside says there's no problem. My children seat correctly but the indicator still goes off or never comes on. This is a safety issue that Saturn refuses to correct. This has been going on for months and I am approaching 30,000 miles when my warranty will be up. Remember it took 3 visits before one shop found the sensor put in incorrectly. I'd appreciate any help on this matter. Thank you.
