Air Bag Problems of Saturn SL2

I was in an accident on July 18 2009 a lady pulled out of a side street and we hit. I could not avoid her. Im not sure what speed I was going at impact but I slammed on my brakes at 40 mph. My front end hit her side. Most passengers me, the front passenger and two others were injured. Neither air bag deployed. Im not sure if they should have but at that speed and the impact I feel they definitely should have. My daughter and I flew forward and she hit the windshield and I went into the steering wheel coming very close to the windshield. The car in totaled.

The safety mandated air bag label on the head rest of the child car seat was pulled off while by my 10 month old child while she was rear facing and we were driving. I noticed she was choking and looked back to see she was blue and not breathing. I was able to dislodge most of the label from her airway and she began breathing on her own. This is a significant safety issue and these seats should be recalled. Had my child passed out, I would have assumed she was sleeping and we would be burying our daughter. Dt.

While driving at 2mph, the airbags deployed without warning, contacted dealer, and the dealer was not willing to do anything.
