Tire Tread/belt Problems of Saturn SL2

2002 Saturn sl-1 rear passenger tire blew out. The consumer noticed something flying from the rear of the vehicle. The consumer was loosing control and immediately grasped the steering wheel to regain control.

Firestone affiniti, original tires on a Saturn Sl2, p185/65r15 t m/s dot 02 7475. Took vehicle in for a nail puncture. Mechanic noticed tread seperating on the tire and refuse to correct the tire. Please provide any further informaiton. Ts.

Pe00020; original tire equipment on a 1997 Saturn Sl2, tire size p18565r15, and dot number not available. Tires only had under 27 thousand miles on them. When driving on highway at 65 mph driver's side rear tire tread separated, tread pealed off, and came into contact with fuel pump wiring harness which caused loss of all power. Engine came to a complete stop due to the fuel not capable of reaching engine. Consumer contacted the dealer, dealer replaced the tires.
