Rear Window Wiper Washer Motor Problems of Saturn VUE

I own a 2006 Saturn Vue awd in the 2 years I have owned the car here is a list of what has been replaced; 3 set of front brake rotors due to excessive warping to a point where they cant be turned which resulted in a shimmy of the steering wheel when the brakes are applied that keeping control was almost impossible. 2)rear wheel bearings at 25,000mi. 3) front strut mounts also at 25,000 mi. 4) pass seat air bag/seat heater module($907 one wont work without the other) 5) rear wiper motor6) windshield washer pump 6) gas tank vent valve solenoid switch (this makes the engine light com on) 7)3 yes 3 radios. 8) upper pass. Seat heater element.

While driving on the highway, our 2002 Vue made a grinding noise and then began to lose power. As we were pulling off to the side, the vehicle stalled and then would not re-start. The Saturn dealership towed the Vue to their lot and informed us , that the timing chain had skipped and blew the motor. The timing chain was supposed to be no maintenance and didn't even need to be checked until 100,000 miles. My Vue had 65,000 miles. After 3 weeks we were told that they would rebuild the engine at a cost of $3500- $3800 and Saturn would pay half of that cost. Several weeks prior, the vehicle was stalling while driving and would not restart until it cooled off. We took it to the dealership and they replaced a sensor for the cam shaft. The switch for the back wiper has been replaced and we were told by Saturn tech's that the motor for the back wiper also needs to be replaced, again at our cost.

With less than 50,000 miles on this vehicle, I have replaced the rotors and the rear wiper motor. The latest failure left me stranded and needed to be towed to the dealer. The slave cylinder for the hydraulic clutch fluid went with a total cost of 1100. 00 out of factory and extended warranty of course. Company claims this is a wear and tear issue.

Problems with transmission equipment on 2003 Saturn Vue. ** answer required***. Three weeks after the vehicle was purchased the consumer was notified of a transmission related recall on the vehicle. Four months later the transmission failed without warning in traffic. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was determined that the transmission needed to be replaced (vti transmission). The manufacturer is aware of the problems with the vti transmission but instead of replacing the with a different type of transmission they extended the warranty. The starter and rear wiper motor was replaced. Both fuel senders failed resulting in inaccurate fuel readings. The liftgate became stuck when opened.
