The contact owns a 2004 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the steering wheel. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 131,000.

Power steering making a noise not working properly.

The contact owns a 2008 Saturn Vue. The contact observed an unusual noise coming from the steering shaft. The dealer performed a diagnostic and advised the contact that the intermediate steering shaft would need to be replaced and advised a booth modification. There were no recalls for the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 52,000.

The contact owns a 2003 Saturn Vue. The steering wheel makes a noise when turning the vehicle. The mechanic stated that the steering wheel was malfunctioning. The contact found a recall for this issue for the 2002 models, but not the 2003 Vue. She feels that this is a safety hazard and Saturn should pay for the repairs because the steering could fail at any moment. The current mileage was 51,358 and failure mileage was 51,050.
