1 Warnings problem of the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 07/31/2026

Was driving on highway when all of the lights on my dash illuminated. Eventually I got a warning for oil at temp alarm. Was giving code p2757 and p0700. Looks like this a common issue in Subarus but doesn’t look like it covers anything after 2020.

3 Warnings problem of the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 02/25/2026

This a second report following a visit to the dealer for system check. At that service, we were advised that no issues were identified, we were told that sunlight could cause the Subaru “eyesight” system to disengage. Today, 25 February, the vehicle eyesight system continues to disable and enable itself seemingly at random. This morning, we travelled on well marked roadways with overcast skies (no sunlight to cause problems). The system repeatedly disabled and enabled itself. In addition, on a street with vehicles parallel parked along the curb, the vehicle reported an obstacle and began braking for no apparent reason. This has been reported to the dealer. We are awaiting a response. It does seem as if there are some faults within the eyesight system.

4 Warnings problem of the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek

The brake pedal some time goes down to the floor. I brought vehicle in Subaru dealer for check up. They stated that the power brake booster is defective, need to be replace. This is 2023 vehicle and the mileage is only 46,000 miles. For safety to me and other drivers please investigate this safety concern.

5 Warnings problem of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 01/21/2025

On [xxx] I was driving my ned 2024 Subaru Crosstrek wilderness (420 miles), from inside the "flamingo pines shopping center” on the intersection of [xxx] and [xxx] , city of pembroke pines in florida by the [xxx] , to merge into [xxx] . The traffic coming already on [xxx] southbound stopped 3 or four vehicles ahead of me. Slowly the vehicles in front where merging into the traffic until there was only one vehicle in front of me, a black Jeep. After 2 or 3 more vehicle passed by [xxx] , the road was clear and the Jeep started to move. I started to move slowly behind the Jeep, but turn my head one last time to the left to confirm no other vehicle was coming. When I turn my head back to the right the Jeep stopped completely and I was not able to press the brake on time, ending in a collision with the Jeep. The eyesight on my Crosstrek didn't work at all, don't even warning me about the Jeep was stopped completely. My vehicle is still in the shop for repairs, due to my car ended with more damages than the Jeep. I had 6 Subaru outbacks and 1 forrester before and this situation never happened before. Location in google maps [xxx] police report [xxx] pembroke pines police department information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

6 Warnings problem of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 04/24/2024

While making a left turn out of a parking lot, across one lane of the two-lane road to the middle left-hand turn lane of the traffic signal, the car cut power and issued an alert (which I could only hear - not see due to the urgency of the situation) causing me to almost get t-boned by traffic in the lane that I was crossing. I think the car sensed the stopped traffic I was facing, and the car didn’t realize I was turning left, and “thought” I was going to collide with the stopped traffic, engaging the pre-collision braking system, which was not correct for the situation and almost caused a crash. There is no way to have a dealer verify the issue as it was just situational. There was an emergency warning issued both on the dash (which I couldn’t see due to the urgency of the situation) and an auditory alarm (which I heard as the car cut power to the engine).

7 Warnings problem of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 11/22/2023

I have had several of the safety systems on the vehicle shut off suddenly. Twice, I have taken the vehicle into the dealership to get it looked at and now I will have to do so for the third time. It is pretty concerning because it has to do with all the safety features.

8 Warnings problem of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 10/23/2023

- pre-collision braking has deployed a number of times without cause (no one in front of vehicle, no collision threat at all. Most recently at 35mph, but at up to 55 mph prior. Feel free to inspect. - brakes are automatically deployed hard and without the warning that is supposed to occur. This has thrown me into the seatbelt a few times and poses a significant risk of getting rear ended. I'm afraid the automatic steering system is going to throw me into a ditch. - the dealer can't reproduce it and no log is recorded by the car because it isn't registered as a malfunction, rather the vehicle thinks it's doing the right thing. I've taken it in twice for this and a few other issues. - the vehicle has not been inspected by anyone else as there has been no damage yet. - no signals were given and there have been no other symptoms other than the adaptive cruise control slowing down for no reason on occasion, presumably it thinks there are ghost cars in front of me?.

9 Warnings problem of the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 10/15/2023

Waiting in line to pickup prescription, stopped with foot on brake and vehicle accelerated into car approx 15 ft in front of me. Eye sight braking did not stop car, nor did imminent collision warning engage. Car is at dealership and they conducted test; found nothing. Awaiting Subaru engineer to pull and check "black box".

10 Warnings problem of the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 07/30/2023

While driving on the highway in the slow lane (furthest to the right), traveling at approximately 50 mph, I came to be behind a tractor trailer. Before I had a chance to pass the tractor trailer, it switched lanes abruptly. My vision past/beyond (in front of) the tractor trailer was heavily obstructed by the massive vehicle itself, so I could not see that in front of the 18-wheeler there was a mid-size sedan traveling at approximately 5-10 mph in the same active highway lane I was in. I had almost no time to react, and neither the automatic emergency braking system nor the forward collision warning system engaged. Both of these systems should have activated to prevent the collision and/or minimize injuries and damage. I subsequently collided (harshly) with the aforementioned sedan.

11 Warnings problem of the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek

Failure Date: 05/17/2021

The eyesight turned off and would not turn back on. Then the airbag symbol lit up on the dashboard. My cruise control and lane assistance were not working as well. If I had been involved in an accident, the airbags would not have deployed. The warning messages appeared about 3 weeks ago.
