Battery Dead Problems of Subaru Legacy

Battery died because of a drain problem. I had to replace 2 batteries in one year and ten months. How many batteries must I replaced before Subaru does a recall? is there anything you can do?.

In our 3 year old Subaru Legacy the battery is dying if we do not start the car every two days. On the third day the battery is dead and needs to be jumped. I took it to the dealership, while it was still under warranty, and was told that the battery was fine and there was no issues found. . I have since learned that there is a class action law suit ongoing for other Subaru models where there is a battery drainage problem.

I purchased a brand new 2019 Subaru Legacy 3. 6r limited and 3 months later with approximately 900 total miles the battery died twice while parked.

The contact owns a 2002 Subaru Legacy. The contact stated that after the engine was shut off, the external lights remained illuminated. The contact attempted to turn the light switch off. However, the light remained on causing the battery to die. The battery was removed from the vehicle in order for the lights to shut off. The problem recurred multiple times. The vehicle was not taken to a mechanic for a diagnosis. The vehicle was no repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 400,000.
