Defogger Problems of Suzuki Grand Vitara

The contact owns a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph with the air conditioner activated, the blower motor malfunctioned, causing the windshield to become foggy in colder weather. The contact had to wipe the windshield down with a towel for visibility. The contact took the vehicle to a local mechanic for diagnostic testing where the mechanic advised that the blower motor could not be repaired but required replacement. The vehicle had not yet been repaired. The failure mileage was 64,100.

Low beam headlights frequently burn out airbag seat sensor twice changed, now it is out of warranty. Check engine light turns on frequently. Ac blows hot air suddenly. Power steering plastic tensioner may break out. Rear wheel cover impact wiil dent backdoor.

The contact owns a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara. While driving approximately 55 mph she noticed that the blower motor was not working for the air conditioner. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic for the failure. The mechanic performed a diagnostic test and replaced the blower motor. The contact stated that 2 years later the heater blower was not working. The mechanic that previously replaced the blower motor performed the second diagnostic test and stated that the blower motor needed to be replaced again. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 104,000.

After purchasing this vehicle new in September 2006, it has been in the service dept of phil long Suzuki 9 times in an 8 month period. The heater inside the Suzuki Grand Vitara xsport works intermittently and the service dept has no idea how to fix it. I've been caught in 4 blizzards here in colorado with 2 babies in the car and no heater! the Suzuki corporation refuses to make things right! the district manager, mike wetstone has been nothing but rude and refuses to help with this matter. The Suzuki corporation refuses to accept any responsibility and has continuously pushed us off on the district manager. I definitely purchased a lemon and was threatened by mike wetstone that if I go through with filing a report through the lemon law, it will cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket!!!.

Windshield defogger system is not working properly. On rainy days, or in cold weather, the windshield fogs up. Turning on the defogger makes it worse even on the highest settings. The only thing that clears it eventually is rolling down the windows an inch on either side left or rear. This has been an ongoing problem since I purchase the vehicle, but now it is getting worst.

Front windshield fogged when using the defroster, causing poor visibility. Dealer has been notified. Mr all the windows will fog over at the slightest change in weather even with the defogger on high power.
