Submission for defective 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4. The consumer noticed a serious vibration in the drive train at 65 mph. The consumer was told there was a problem with the drive shaft. The dealer took a drive shaft from another vehicle and installed in the consumers vehicle. Now the vibration is occurring at 45 mph as well as 65 mph. The dealer has tried 3 times to fix the problem. The dealer told the consumer the reason why he now has 2 problems instead of one is because the mechanics started changing parts without trying to find the problem and changed the wrong part. The vehicle has more than one drive shaft along with universal joints and transfer case.

They had to replace the driveshaft, differential, all four tires, turn drums & rotors and the car still vibrates.
Bought this vehicle 4 days ago. Has excessive vibration in drivetrain. In for service twice at dealer (1st time replaced tires-did not cure problem) it is now at the dealer's service department (9/4/01) found a TSB (01-04-17-002) for the Chevrolet tracker (Suzuki twin) for power train:driveline:shaft chain:propellor:drive. This is identical to the problem we are having. Dealer seems unaware of TSB fix .
