Notice while driving that the passenger seat belt light came on showing that my passenger wasn't buckled in even if the seat belt was on and that air light warning light came on the dashboard. This is the second time this has happen. This problem happens if there is a passenger sitting in the seat or even if no one is sitting in the seat. Seat sensor was replaced once already back in 2008, covered by car warranty but not sure if it will be covered this time again as I have 134,000 miles on the car already. Waiting for response from dealer about the situation.
The passenger seat belt indicator stays on regardless of having someone sit in the seat or not. The air bag warning light is also on all the time. I have checked the wiring and nothing seems to be wrong with it.
