Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2012 Suzuki SX4

Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Suzuki Sx4. The contact stated that while traveling approximately 5 mph to make a turn and pull into the contacts driveway, the brake pedal was applied, there was an abnormal noise near the steering wheel and the drivers side air bag deployed with force. The contact sustained injuries to the face, the contacts nose was bleeding, arm pains, back pains and extensive internal bruising. The drivers side air bag had blood on it due to the force and impact of the air bag. The contact received further medical treatment due to the injuries sustained from the crash. The insurance company towed the vehicle to a repair shop for inspection. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was to send a technician to diagnose how the failure occured.
