Gasoline Fuel System Problems of Suzuki SX4

2011 Suzuki sx 4 crossover. Consumer writes in regards to gas mileage and transmission issues the consumer stated the dealer informed him, it would take up to 5,000 miles in order for him to get 23 mpg. The consumer also stated there was a hesitation within the transmission while driving.

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Suzuki Sx4. The contact was driving 65 mph when the passenger side air bag light illuminated along with the tire pressure warning sensor. The contact also confirmed the fuel gauge failed to accuracy keep track of the fuel intake for the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer only to address the illuminated of the tire pressure sensor. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 63,000 and the current mileage was 63,098. Rds.

Passenger airbag sensor in seat burned out causing all airbags to disable. The airbag lights were stayin on then not and then eventually stayed on permenantly. Must replace whole cushion for a simple sensor. . . Megabucks.

I bought my Sx4 2007 Suzuki Nov 2007. I have had problems with gas fumes inside car, took it to service said there were no leaks. Still smells on occasions. Took car to service 3 times the had it for 7 days and could find no problem. It is the worst car I have ever had for poor gas mileage. And also the passenger airbag light comes on constantly. Was told passenger must not be sitting in seat right, give me a break!!!!. I wouldn't recommend this car.
