I purchase this 2008 Suzuki sedan x4 three years ago I have been having a lot of problems with this a lot of the parts on this car have been breaking off the air lbag sensor light have been coming have taken to Suzuki several times they claim they fix it it would work okay for a liittle while amd the light would come back on again three days later. I have a lot of problems with this car I am really feed up with this car makes no sense to me . I am scheduled to take this car for the third time to get the airbag fix hoping that they fix it right this time this coming Friday it makes no sense . I hope you"ll can help me out with this situation it has gotten worse not better at all .
2008 Suzuki Sx4 crossover driver airbag light and passenger seatbelt light are on constantly. Contacted Suzuki customer service, took vehicle to authorized Suzuki dealership. Diagnosed problem, will cost over 2200 to make vehicle safe to operate. Service man informed us none of the airbags will function until 2200$ repairs are made. Car is not under warranty. If I choose to have the passenger seat cushion replaced this will make the third seat cushion as it has been replaced another time already under warranty. Suzuki customer service told me since car is out of warranty I have to pay. They told me to have service manager contact their technical rep and open a case and maybe they might help me in some unspecified way. Suzuki dealership would not give us a loaner car and Suzuki customer service would not authorize loaner vehicle. We have to drive this little deathtrap without any airbags. If you go online and type in Suzuki Sx4 airbag light on you see this is a widespread problem. We can`t afford to pay for another airbag sensor that will only last a short time and then leave us vulnerable and unprotected. Please help us and others like us who don`t have the money to pay for Suzuki`s poor quality and defective safety equipment. Thank you.
- - - the problem with this car is a poor and dangerous design feature. There are two (2) roof frame supports on each side at the windshield. One is for the windshield the other is for the small side window and they both come together at the top, and when they do they take up so much space that they totally block the drivers view of the road on both sides. Any car or person in that area behind the frame can not be seen at all. When driving the driver has to constantly be moving their upper body back and forth to see around the frame. When I bought the car I was not able to drive it for the first week due to family health issues that I had to stay at home for. In two days after I did drive again I almost pulled out in front of and would have hit a car coming around a curve that cold not be seen because of this dangerous construction. Since then I have had that same close call over 1 dozen times. It is such a problem that I hardly ever drive the car more than I have to to go to a store for food. The car is over 1-1/2 years old and I have less than 2,500 miles on it to close local stores and family doctors. - - this car is so dangerous to drive that it should never have been allowed to be sold in this country and should be taken off the road. Sooner or later it is going to kill people. I have already seen some in used car lots. It looks like owners are already getting rid of them.
