Have to replacement catalytic converters twice over 10 years owner this car.
Bought car brand new in 2007,had no problems with it except rear wheel bearing. At about 102,000 miles I had an air bag light come on for driver side,to costly to get repaired. Then at about 160,000 miles my front passenger air bag light came on. Recently I had received notification for recall for air bag problem. Called many dealerships tristate to my area, and they all told me there are no parts available. The state of west virginia is now enforcing inspection codes, and I cannot get my car inspected. I called number on recall card, and it seems that they are reading from a cue card and offered no help at all. I was forced to buy another car, which cannot really afford at this time, dealer offered me $500 for my Suzuki, which to me was an insult. He explained that it was due to airbag situation, and they would have to send car to auction, believing they would not get much for car. I declined offer and car is sitting in driveway,Suzuki should be responsible for putting me back in debt!.
I was involved in a roll over accident. The right wheel of the car seized and none of the air bags deployed. I sustained some soft tissue injuries.
The contact owns a 2011 Suzuki Sx4. The contact stated there was a crack on the side of the valve stem that caused a slow leak in the tire. The vehicle was repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 30000.
I have a 2010 Suzuki Sx4 and have had 2 failures of the tire pressure system monitors in less than 2 months. Both tpsm valves have fractures/cracks leading down the threading of the valve allowing air to leak. The first failure was in Dec 2011 and resulted in a flat while parked in a garage. The second failure was found when I noticed the front right tire was at 15 psi. Once again the tpsm valve was cracked length wise. There is definitely a problem it appears in the manufacturing of these valves by schrader electronics. Info on the tpsm valve: part 43130-54j2 fcc 2546a-suz3ma4 schrader electronics barcode: *09754328* and *09754116* I'm having problems getting this issue resolved by the dealership on a vehicle that is only 1 year 4 months old and I have extensive platinum warranty. This is a huge safety issue for me and my family. A sudden failure by the remaining valves could lead to serious injuries or death as was the case in 2008 tpsm valve failures. This needs to be seriously looked into closely. Note: I have had the two faulty valves removed and replaced with rubber valves in the meantime.
Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Suzuki Sx4. The contact was driving 65 mph when the passenger side air bag light illuminated along with the tire pressure warning sensor. The contact also confirmed the fuel gauge failed to accuracy keep track of the fuel intake for the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer only to address the illuminated of the tire pressure sensor. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 63,000 and the current mileage was 63,098. Rds.
