Two problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 2004 Suzuki XL7. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After replacing the battery, my clock started flashing and my air bag light came on and stayed on. Nothing that has been tried has remedied either problem. There is no Suzuki dealership in my area. I was told by a mechanic that if I have an accident, my airbag will not deploy or work properly.
Accidental emergency brake activation. Only one wheel locked up that on passenger side causing the vehicle to spin out of control into a guardrail. Also, airbags did not deploy and seatbelt restraints allowed upper body to move freely into interior components.
