One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 2004 Suzuki XL7. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag light came on and clock keeps flashing. Suzuki says it is a failed sensor under the passenger seat which would cost $1,000+ to fix. Failure to fix can cause the airbag to possibly not deploy correctly. This seems like a high-cost safety fix considering no car damage and it is a failed component.
