Owners/service Manual problems of the 2017 Tesla Model S

Three problems related to owners/service manual have been reported for the 2017 Tesla Model S. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2021

My vehicles main screen consistently does not work. The screen is important because it hosts my back up camera, the pin code needed to turn on the vehicle to put it drive, my bluetooth settings, ac functionality, etc. The screen has on multiple occasions froze ( while providing navigation) simply not turned on and had to be reset using manual controls, and restarted while mid driving and therefore not able to provide directions mid drive. The issue has been brought up to Tesla and they simply did a firmware reset which resolved no issue. These issues have occurred while driving, parked, on freeway, city driving, all situations. I just got the vehicle back in August and have had multiple issues other than this. But this issues has been reoccurring throughout my short time owning the vehicle.

2 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 10/18/2018

With the current release v9, in a specific location, under autopilot the vehicle attempts to suddenly veer off the road to the right, in a violent action. Manually correcting causes autosteer to disengage but cruise control remains on exasserbating the situation. Conditions: 2 lane highway, traveling at 45 mph. Painted center line jogs slightly to accommodate center turning lane. Travelled this road safely on autopilot for over a year without incident. Now it happens everytime. Attempts to contact Tesla, thus far have resulted in no response.

3 Owners/service Manual problem

Failure Date: 12/04/2017

Tesla s trunk opens after manual pressing close button from inside truck.
