Both rear tires (original tires) on the vehicle had broken belts at about the same time. My understanding is that broken belts can lead to tire failure which can pose a significant safety risk. Our local Tesla dealer diagnosed the problem, and the tires have been sent to the tire manufacturer for their own inspection. There were no warnings. Tire size: 275/45 r20.
