Rearview Mirror Problems of Toyota 4Runner

While driving at any speed driver's side mirror vibrated uncontrollably. This caused poor visibility. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the mirror needed to be replaced, and replaced it three times. However, the problem recurred. While traveling on the highway the truck has a thumping noise coming from the rear. The dealership is aware of the problem. The right rear seat will not fold. The brackets have been replaced twice and the seat is still half way folded. Also the door indicator light illuminates and does not go off and the locks will not lock. They were inspected and no problem was found. The driver side mirror is falling. The brakes needed repairs performed. The front rotors had excessive rout out.

The driver side mirror is warped, making it diffucult to focus on objects. There are 2 images of objects behind the vehicle. It makes it diffucult to drive at night because there appears to be twice as many headlights as there actually are. I've had the mirror replaced 3 times without fixing the problem.

Rear view mirror is positioned to low from roof of vehicle which creates a serious blind spot. Driver is of average height ( 5'11" ) whenever driving and turning to the right or a sharp curve to the right driver has to tilt head over to look under mirror to look for on coming traffic. Dt.
