The manufacturer was informed of failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Toyota Avalon. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, when he rear ended a parked vehicle. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated the front driver side air bag did not deploy and the front driver side seat belt did not retract during the impacted, causing him to hit his head with the windshield. The contact sustained fracture on his rid head, has multiple lacerations on his forehead (needing 29 stitches), neck pain, wipe lash and a concussion. The contact stated he was taken by an ambulance to the er to seek medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not drivable. The vehicle was towed to impound lot. The vehicle was destroyed. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer has not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 80,000. Dp.

Seat Belt problem #4

Seat belt on drivers side hung up when pulled out to attach it to the seat latch. Will not retract back into the compartment in the vehicle body. Hanging loose. Will not adjust to your body. Would not lock up in case of an accident.
