Two problems related to speed control linkage have been reported for the 1999 Toyota Camry. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle suddenly accelerated, resulting in a minor collision. Driver sustained minor injuries, and vehicle was totaled. Manufacturer has been notified.
Recall 01v012000; accelerator cable housing could be deformed at cruise control actuator to throttle body connection. Consumer is experiencing this problem. This vehicle not included in recall due to VIN. Please give any further details.
