One problem related to transmission slip out of gear has been reported for the 1999 Toyota Camry. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle will jump out of gear into neutral while traveling at any speed. Dealership examined vehicle, and informed consumer that cable running from gear shift to transmission assembly is exposed to environmental elements, causing transmission to jump out of gear.
