2000 Camry, v6, le - check engine light came on and would not go off. Was told it was probably because of filling the gas too much. The light stayed on over two years and I had to have the "sensor" replaced. It was only about five months ago when I had this replaced - and again the check engine light has came on and will not shut off. My car has almost 150,000 miles but the check engine light started having problems back around 50,000. I also had problems with backend clunking noises, and my front wheels clicked, and now the brakes squeak like crazy (and have for over two years). Every time I have the car looked at, and it has been by the dealers and authorized repair stations, they are unable to fix the problem. As for the check engine light - it cost me over $400 for repair - and now after only about 5 months, I guess I'll have to pay it again.
