1 Rear Window Defogger problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2005

The defogger wires in the rear window reflect headlights and glare from behind the vehicle. It creates a prism effect, with 10-12 lines showing both above and below each and every headlight or bright light source behind the vehicle. The image you see in your rear-view mirror is false, misleading and distracting. Changing tint and/or mirror does not affect the problem. The rear windows need to be replaced with a different design that includes defogger wires that have a non-reflective surface.
