1 Rear Suspension Shock Absorber problem

Took my vehicle to the dealership for routine maintenance. They told me that I need to replace my front struts(found front shock absorbers leaking) which would cost $1254. I did search online and found that this is a common issue among 2007 Toyota Camrys. Would Toyota do anything about this premature defective issue?.

2 Rear Suspension Shock Absorber problem

Failure Date: 03/16/2010

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Camry. The contact noticed hydraulic fluid leaking from the shock absorbers. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop where a mechanic informed the contact that the hydraulic fluid was leaking from the front and rear shock absorbers. The vehicle was then taken to an authorized dealership for a diagnostic test on two occasions. When the problem was duplicated, the dealer stated that nothing could be done to repair the vehicle as it was no longer under warranty. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
