1 Trunk Lid problem

The trunk has a defective design, upon opening the trunk with the remote and then lifting the trunk lid, the trunk lid does not fully open. This resulted in my head hitting the trunk lid a causing a cut to my head and a mild concussion. I believe that the springs in the trunk do not have enough force to open the trunk fully.

2 Trunk Lid problem

Failure Date: 09/13/2010

The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the trunk only opens a little when released and it has caused the contact to hit his head, which caused a gash on his head. The contact stated that the trunk has to be pulled all the way open. The manufacturer stated that the trunk is designed not to open all the way and the contact would have to pull the trunk open. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage and current mileages was 35500.
