While driving in the rain at approximately 35 mph hydroplaned on an highway exit ramp that was a sharp loop/curve. The car hit head on the end of the guardrail which had a square plate. The entire front end and hood of the Camry was smashed and the air bags never deployed. I was wearing my seat belt which somewhat restrained me but hit my head on the steering wheel and suffered a concussion.
I rear ended another vehicle and the air bags never deployed. As much damaged that my car sustained no air bag deployed.
I was driving on I 90 westbound on 03/01/2014 around 10:48 pm . The weather conditions were difficult as it was snowing and the highway lanes were not clear except the 3rd lane which I was on and it seemed safer than the other two lanes. The weather was causing the vehicles to drive at speeds well below 50 mph as I was approaching the barrington road exit I signaled and waited for the traffic to clear a little so I can safely proceed to the second lane. As I started making the move towards the second lane but not fully changing lanes the car started skidding and I had tried to steer it so that it goes towards the left shoulder westbound . I applied the brakes very slowly so I do not hit the center wall and get out of the way of the other motorists and stop safely but as I approached the left shoulder the car hit the wall and turned around with the car positioned front to the upcoming traffic but still on the shoulder. As the car turned around the left front side of an incoming car hit the front of my car and pushed it up the center concrete wall. The car stopped on the wall(yes on the wall standing in between both eastbound and westbound lanes). I called 911 immediately and they sent the illinois state police to investigate. The ambulance came but no one was injured seriously or taken to the hospital. Only the seatbelt and a good amount of luck made it that I am alive and write you this. My complaint is that even though the seatbelt worked effectively is that when the other vehicle hit me in front of the car the airbags did not deploy. For that reason I am fearful that there is a problem with the airbags and needs to be fully investigated. The car was not involved in any accident before and it was recently at a Toyota dealership for a oil change and the vehicle had recently a multi point vehicle inspection.
I own a 2009 Camry which I bought as a new car. Few days ago I was approaching my garage driveway at a normal slow speed when my car suddenly accelerated by its own. I tried to press the brake at hard as I could to stop the car but it continue to speed up till it smashed into the garage wall and broke it. The impact was so severe the stair case on the other side of the wall go displaced and shattered. Air bags did not deploy. I kept on pressing the brakes but the wheels were rotating so fast that the front tire got burst after rubbing so fast against the garage floor. The vehicle finally came to stop after the impact but the entire garage and the house was full of black smoke due to burning tires. This uncontrolled sudden acceleration might kill someone if it had happened on a city street. This is a severe problem and must be investigated thoroughly to avoid similar cases in future. We demand that the regulatory agencies and state and federal transportation boards shall investigate this case and avoid similar future incidents.
This car hit us on the driver side running us off the road into a light pole. The pole did give say but totaled the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy at all. I am still suffering from back and neck pain. The visor or something scraped the top of forehead/head.
I was in a front end collision in my 2009 Toyota Camry. The car damage was beyond repair and is considered a total loss by the insurance company. The air bags did not deploy during the accident as they should have.
I had merged onto the highway, traveling at about 50 to 55 mph on a very narrow construction road. I was sharing this narrow road with a semi at this point. As I tried to give a little room between the semi and my vehicle, I sudden hit the edge of the road where there were gravels and immediately my vehicle started spinning out of control and all over the highway, in and out of a ditch and finally hit a tree and then came to a stop. Luckily, I did not sustain any injury but I am now dealing with major pain in my neck and back that is getting worse everyday. My complaint is during this whole process the airbag did not deploy. I was hoping, this with much impact, the airbags should have deployed.

Within a few weeks, the rear power windows began opening on their own. The contact was driving approximately 20 mph when the brakes were engaged; however, the vehicle would not stop which caused her to crash into a vehicle in front of her. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to a body shop who advised the contact that there was also an electrical failure since the vehicle would start. The repair shop made several attempts to start the vehicle and was unsuccessful. The manufacturer advised her that the recall repair will start in April and that she would have to wait until then. The contact stated that the air bags did not deploy. The failure mileage was 19854.
The operation of the side seat airbags on the Toyota Camry are compromised due to the fact that the integrity of the seat cushion has a design flaw that causes the cushion to collapses around the airbag. Which would change the angle of the airbag and cause it not to deploy properly.
My 2007 Toyota Camry le was rear-ended at around 40-50 miles per hour and it was pushed into the car in front of me. So I was struck from the back and then the front. The other two cars' airbags deployed but mine did not. I notice there are front and side tests done on cars but never when one is rear-ended. I went to the emergency room with a headache and stiffness in my neck and was diagnosed with whiplash - head and back. Everyone I've mentioned this to wondered why my airbags did not deploy. Can you tell me if it should have? fortunately my seatbelt worked and restrained me and I did not bump my head on anything other than the headrest. Just wondering if I should be concerned that my airbag did not deploy. Oh, and my just-paid off Camry was totaled -- over $12,000 in damages so I have to buy another car and wondering if I should consider another vehicle. I feel fortunate that I was able to walk away from the incident though there is no more "truck" so to speak left on my car. I'd like to get another Camry but need to know if the lack of airbag deployment is important to consider when buying another car. Also, I have been hearing that the floor mat recall on the Toyotas from 2007 -2010 is not really a floor mat issue but an electrical one that Toyota is not telling us about. What do you know about this?.
The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Camry. While driving 10 mph and approaching a stop light an SUV stopped abruptly in front of her and the vehicle suddenly accelerated and crashed into the SUV. The front of the vehicle was damaged. The air bags did not deploy. There were no injuries. The police did not complete a police report. The vehicle was towed from the scene and repaired at a local shop. It took one month for the local repair facility to fix the vehicle; however, the failure recurred and crashed into another SUV. The manufacturer was unable to provide her any assistance regarding the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.
I was involved in a wreck where I was traveling roughly 5 miles per hour. The airbags did not deploy. It was a front side impact and my car was totaled. Bent the frame, crunched the front part of the body (hood and side walls), blew the transmission, radiator, ac system, and much more. I still have pictures of the accident of my vehicle. Because of the impact on the car I got slammed into the steering wheel and dashboard. I have permanent knee damage that could not get repaired due to lack of insurance because I'm a student.
