I went to get a oil change on October 28, 2014, I was told that I had a fluid leak(transmission or oil) anyway the dealership here in greenville, ms. Also told perform diagnosis lower front sub-frame assy. W/tranaxle plus engine-separate engine from trans. Plus replace rear crank seal plus replace both drive axle seals-reassemble plus reinstall plus top trans fluids, perform top engine DE-carb this is what I was told shouldn't be having these problem just purchase car in Feb 2013.
Engine lower case crank seal leak. I called Toyota corp. Office and they refused to help me. I have read all the complaints, and I believe this problem should have been a recall. Toyota corp. Needs to recall and fix problem before someone gets seriously hurt driving a car without oil. The engine oil light does not come on. It can also cause an engine stoppage. I am a senior citizen and fear something will happen. The cost to fix is about $2200. 00. I am a senior citizen and cannot afford that kind of money. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this problem. I will type the date I bought the car at the bottom of this form because it is asking date incident happened and won't take recent dates.
