Wiring Problems of Toyota Camry Hybrid

Rodents chewed electrical wiring while parked in driveway of our home. Toyota dealership wants to replace engine harness wiring, but insurance company refuses and insists on repairs only. Toyota does not want to do repairs.

Rodents crewing on biodegradable wire harness in 2009 camry 4 door sedan hybrid. Complaint given to customer service mgr was inoperative gas gauge. No explanation given for entry points or solution other than replacement of wiring harness.
